Google Code Jam 2006

There is a contest right now from google that have partnership with TopCoder.com. It is named as Google Code Jam. If you like to solve a problem with coding, this is a good place and contest for you to showcase your skills. So, do you want a chance to use your skills and compete against top programmers from all over the world. The competition is available in five programming languages – Java, C++, C#, VB.NET and Python.  About the prizes:

 

1st Place – $10,000
2nd – 10th Place – $5,000
11th – 25th Place – $2,500
26th – 50th Place – $1,000

New approach AJAX for Web Apps.

It seems like quite alot of web application moving to adapt AJAX into it. Thus, Microsoft also invest it. In fact, there are quite alot of web application are using this approach quite long time ago, such as Outlook Web Access and secretly my company’s web application and also one of the company that I was being outsourced before. They did their architecture since year of 2000(if not mistaken). AJAX is not popular that time and nobody concern about the benefits that time. Actually, I was shocked when I was joining as a member to develop those web apps. I was shocked as this approach really bring some benefits to the user because they noneed to have long wait for the result even in saving and updating. But, the security for those type of apps must be straighten else the data will be a problem. Anyway, I am not more a web developer in company now already but some how I will still explore all of the web techs.

If you know AJAX, you sure noticed that’s alot of website is built on AJAX. Anyway, Yahoo Mail Beta just faced a problem with worm.
I found out there are few sites release their beta product that is DHTML spreadsheet. If you found it is interesting, kindly go the website below and visit:
